The meeting on October 9th had 10 attendees. Discussion focused around
using the LPI (Linux Professional Institute) Certification requirements
as subject material for future meetings. It was posed to increase the
frequency of GLLUG meetings in order to get through the information
faster. Attendees agreed that they are interested in using this as an
opportunity to gain the certification.

A meeting is scheduled for Thursday October 16th at Jeff Lawton's home
office, to structure the schedule, assign sections to volunteers, and to
organized the program. The first meeting with the new agenda was
proposed for the 23rd of October. Anyone else interested in attending,
please post to the list. Also, anyone interested in presenting, please
post that as well. This program will be done on a volunteer basis since
there is not an accounting aspect to GLUG at this time. The core of the
information will be derived from a tutorial provided by Gentoo and IBM
http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/articles.xml

If anyone has a better source/base material please post it to the list
or bring it to the meeting on the 16th.
