[GLLUG] Booting to console

Boot into single user mode using "s" at the boot command 
line. 

Enter your root password.

remount / as rw, "mount / -o remount,rw"

Modify /etc/inittab and change the default runlevel to 3.

Reboot or run "telinit 3".
