I don't personally feel that this particular example is appropriate for our 
group. However, if the good people who make Redhat came out to do a short 
schpeil on Linux for the desktop to enterprise solutions, I think it would 
be acceptable. 

My point in short: 

Its okay for Commercial presentations to exist so long as they are within 
the scope of the Meeting on any particular night. A vendor from Prometric, 
giving us a infomercial on exam testing would be appropriate at the end of 
an LPI exam course night. Not so appropriate at a general business meeting 
to discuss upcoming events. 

A linksys rep selling wifi would be good on any night we're dealing with 
wireless networking, not so good on an installfest night. 

You get the idea.
