[GLLUG] Commercial Presentations

IMHO the new Novell Linux desktop is slick. First one I actually think has
the true potential to be "user friendly." They've got some good technical
folk here in the Mid-Michigan area as well.
FWIW I think those of you who make the meetings would find it beneficial.

I'm currently working with Novell to develop a Linux migration strategy for
the organization I manage. I happened to be meeting with them yesterday
after
seeing this thread come up, and asked if they would be interested, should
the
group decide the even want commercial presentations, to which they replied
that they would love to.
I've been pretty impressed with SUSE, and what Novell has been doing with
it.
They are throwing a LOT of resources behind Linux, basically betting their
business on it. Novell has more staff dedicated to Linux than Red Hat has
employees. They, of course, are making a ton of money on services, but they
are passing all their developments back to the open source community.
If people are interested I can pass on contact information, or work as the
middle man to set up a presentation.
