[GLLUG] ssh hangs on remote shutdown

It hangs on linux distributions (at least Mandrake and RedHat and
I seem to recall Debian) but not on FreeBSD 4.9.

Thanks!  Did not know about the tilde-period combination, but
when I tried it, it works great and is closer to what I was
looking for.
