[GLLUG] Mandrake and modems

Darwin,

Before you trash the modem do you know if it ever worked in Windows?
Are you the same guy who said you have dial pulse instead of dial
tone?  If so, make sure your modem software is set to pulse instead of
tone.  I believe someone on the list already pointed out that the dial
string would probably be ATDP instead of ATDT in that case.
