I am interested in this project.  I have two non-profit websites that I 
maintain and I would like to host them better.  I was thinking of trying:

 http://www.dyndns.org/services/custom/

and using my own machine at home and my comcast connection.  This is 
more like a cabin than a castle though.  Anyway, I'm still interested in 
more details - seems like we have similar goals.
