I've been using wireless for about two years here. I've had excellent
success with Orinoco pcmcia cards, good success with Linksys cards
(some of the cards were either flaky, or didn't stand up to the abuse of a
laptop falling off the sofa when the cat jumped up, etc), and am currently
using a Belkin 54g F5D7010 pcmcia nic in my laptop (as I write this) using
ndiswrapper with the Windows drivers. I use Mandrake, and have had a
laptop of some sort doing wireless since v9.0.

If you need help or tips, please drop a line.
