I'll be at tonight's meeting.
The following is from the Kalamazoo Linux Users Group List:
KLUG is proud to announce that we are bringing to our members one of the
most famous names in Open Source: Eric. S. Raymond. Mr. Raymond (aka
ESR) will be presenting at the KLUG meeting on August 9th, entitled
"After the Revolution: Open Source, eight years later." The
venue/location of the August 9th meeting may change to accommodate a
large audience, we will post any such change to this list as soon as we
are certain of our venue.

2005-08-09 - After the Revolution: Open Source, eight years later.
Eric S. Raymond is an observer-participant anthropologist in the
Internet hacker culture. His research has helped explain the
decentralized open-source model of software development that has proven
so effective in the evolution of the Internet. His own software projects
include one of the Internet's most widely-used email transport programs.
Mr. Raymond is also a science fiction fan, a musician, an activist for
the First and Second Amendments, and a martial artist with a Black Belt
in Tae Kwon Do. His home page is at http://www.catb.org/~esr.
