These were done for the Michigan Court of Appeals, to provide public access to case information, court rules, and our website content.
After months of research to find all the pieces needed to make it work right, the process of configuring a kiosk using KDE's kiosk framework, and Firefox is actually pretty simple. I intend to write and share what I did for these. I went with a hard drive install, but, these same steps could be worked into a knoppix remaster, or built off of a tighter base distro using the same steps.
Actually, for what I understand the Media Lounge is supposed to offer, maybe the KioskCD that Jeff posted about earlier would work out of the box. Check out kioskcd.com for more details.

Are these for the Penguicon Media Lounge, Andy? If so, are they
something that has to be manually installed and tweaked on each PC? Are
they as simple as a CD that we can just pop in a drive and boot?
