Almost certainly no. The contracted ISP (wayport) has wireless hotspots
all over the hotel, but they're all behind a captive portal with which
they extort travellers. According to the hotel, they're required to shut
down unauthorized WAPs. (Wired in-room internet access is free.)

On the bright side, the hotel is working to end their contract with
Wayport due to the sizable number of customer complaints they've been
getting. No free wireless is the reason that the computer lounge might
be a little more busy than initially expected. Previous years, the
convention goers would plop down with their laptops anywhere in the
hotel to check mail, browse the web, and even write code! This year,
that's not so much an option. It's either their hotel rooms or the
computer lounge for net access unless they want to shell out a small
fortune for a Wayport login.

Not sure if I mentioned it before or not, but somebody on the concom did
approach Wayport to ask how much it would cost to turn off their captive
portal for the weekend. The response? $30,000. No, that's not a typo.
