If I recompile the Kernel and comment out "INET6" in the config file,
will that cause me any problems down the road?

Subject: [GLLUG] IPV6
Importance: High

Is it normal for FreeBSD 6.1 to automatically assign an IPv6 address to
an interface? I don't want to use IPv6; I am using an IPv4 address
scheme and wish to remove the IPv6 address from the interface. How can
I do this?
