Charles, did you print it out at any time?  Before releasing a 
professional writing, I like to step away for 15-30 minutes (go do 
something else to get my mind off of it), then print a copy off and walk 
away from the computer with pen in hand.  There's something about the 
printed page, a refreshed mindset, reading it out loud word for word, 
and a different environment that makes proofreading easier.  At least 
that works for me.
