[GLLUG] Encrypt USB Key?

I have a usb key that I use in both Windows and Linux. I store sensitive information on it (work related.)

Is there a way to make the data inaccessible to everyone except me - a cross-platform solution? At first I was looking for a USB key with a thumbprint reader (not even sure how that is supported in linux.)

Does anyone have an idea of what to do with my existing key to accomplish this?

Thanks,
