Excellent, we can use the two 17" monitors for the terminals. The 15"
might come in handy, so you're welcome to bring it along if you have the
room.

I took a look at the specs for these, but they don't look like X
terminals. They apparently have some graphics modes (including 640x480
VGA) and say that a "Microsoft mouse" is supported. Though I don't see
how the VGA and mouse would work over a serial port. I say bring one
along and we can set it up as Ye Olde Tyme Terminal or something. :)

All of our terminals should have network cards in them, but the 3Com
might come in handy for troubleshooting or emergency use. (Don't worry,
we'll make sure it doesn't get lost in this case.)

Sure, we can use it as a terminal. No need to reformat, though, as all
terminals will load a tiny Linux distro from the network (if they have
bootable NICs) or from CD-ROM. You can even remove or disconnect the
hard disk if you want.

We'll be meeting on Tuesday at the Ideal Solution office, see the
announcement that I sent to the list for full details. While the
Penguicon terminal server won't be ready by that point, we'll be testing
terminals with a server that's already in place. You're more than
welcome if you can make it.
