[GLLUG] Kubuntu package management

ok I'v installed kubuntu "dapper" on a computer I've figured out the basic
use of adept... however I've had some problems... like not being able to
find certain packages I anticipate finding. like mplayer. also how do I
start the ssh daemon so I can remotely manage these packages... julie is
using this computer so it's a pain to leave mine to try to play with it.
