I apologize for not having anything in particular ready for the meeting
tonight. If there's interest, I can do a short talk on using Subversion,
the better-than-CVS version control system or we can just discuss
whatever comes up and chatter amongst ourselves.
Finally, this month is one of pesky buggers with an extra Thursday, so
we'll discuss at the meeting what we would like to do with it.
To help avoid such lack of planning in the future, I'd like to make
another call for presentations. Any topic that is in some way related to
Linux or open source is welcome. You don't have to be an elite kernel
driver guru or database filesystem engineer to do a presentation for
us... Newbies are welcome too! If you've just studied the finer points
of grep and think you have a handle on it, we'd be happy to have a
presentation on it.
If interested, send a brief one-paragraph summary to me along with when
you're availble to present.
Thanks!
