Another weekly GLLUG meeting is scheduled to be held at the Gone Wired
cybercafe in Lansing at 6:00PM. Gone Wired is at 2021 E Michigan Ave
in Lansing on the north side of the street between N Clemens and

Agenda: Linux Graphics Editing

Even if you're not exactly a graphics designer, the ability to edit photos or 
create graphics can come in mighty handy. And although the open source 
equivalents of popular graphics software in Windows and OS X have some 
catching up to do, they're still valuable and useful tools. Clay Dowling with 
give a brief tutorial on photo editing with The Gimp photo editor, Thomas 
Hruska will demonstrate some of the more intermediate/advanced techniques on 
creating new images from scratch, and Charles Ulrich will give an 
introduction to the Inkscape vector editor.
