[GLLUG] About the low-end computer

Hello. My father plays the guitar and has been looking into getting some
new electronic additions. As in a recording studio and a stomp box. He
want's both but both are expensive. I have a 1.6 ghz Socked 476 [I
believe, it's a 5 year old intel possibly older/younger] and 1 gig of
DDR400 ram. I need a motherboard that can support that because the old
motherboard does not have acpi support. I also would need a New Case and
PSU and Hard Drive [40 gigs would be all he needs even 15 would work] He
likes Ubuntu / wants Ubuntu Studio. If anyone could make that happen for
free / low-cost I'd very much appreciate that.
