I think I may have asked this last year at some point but . . .

I used to use Easy CD Creator (for windows) back before Roxio bought it. With that you could select two tracks and listen to the transition between them. Plus variables such as gap and fade in/out and normalize have always seemed a feature in windows cd burning software. At work I use Nero and it has these same sort of options.

At home I am trying to find a solution. I used Amarok with calls K3B but that doesn't have track options, neither does Gnome Baker. I even tried Nero for Linux but that STILL doesn't have those options. I can't be the only one that wants to fade the end of a live track on a mixed cd??

I remember the good old days where, when recording from vinyl, you could just slowly turn down the input on the tape deck.

ANYONE? Is linux DEVOID of a solution like this? I find it next to impossible to believe - we're geeks dammit! Options, Options Options!! :D
