I answer your question with more questions.

What command are you using when you get that error? What filesystem are you using on that drive, and could we see the contents of your /etc/fstab?

Subject: [GLLUG] Mounting a drive

I am having trouble mounting a drive this is the error I am getting when I try to mount the drive.

[mntent]: line 9 in /etc/fstab is bad

mount: can't find /dev/hda3 in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab

I am tried to mount this drive for some time now but I always end up in a dead end. I have stuff that I need on it so I don't want to format it. Dose anyone have any suggestions?
