The claim that "Linux vendors recently have been running, not walking, to 
secure deals
with Microsoft that protect them, and users of their products, from any
legal action relating to claims that open source software (OSS)
violates Microsoft patents." strikes me as suspicious, but the article is 
worth a quick read.  It concerns Mark Shuttleworth of Ubuntu.
