[GLLUG] apt died... and I killed it.

It's definitely not kernel panicking.  I can boot up and log in and  
even ssh into it from work (where I am right now), I just can't use  
apt or aptitude because the dependencies are all messed up.   
Everything else is completely functional.  Weird.
