We probably could have used the terminal server router if I would have 
had the presence of mind to bring its antennas.

Access restriction is only half of the reason that we had a standalone 
machine connected to the printer. The other reason was that you can't 
put a USB key or CD-ROM into a terminal and just have it work like you 
can a normal computer. Last year, I spent at least five hours just 
mounting USB keys and printing stuff for panelists and Penguicon staff. 
The GLLUG box was set up this year so that they could do that 
themselves.

You're welcome to bring it, but you'll probably change your tune after 3 
reams of paper go through it. :) Toner is practically free compared to 
ink.
