I thought before I send this using the library's contact form, I'd
submit it to the group for advice and constructive criticism. If you
think it should come from someone else, or perhaps be done in a letter
or a face-to-face meeting, feel free to suggest such. If you know how
to find the e-mail address of the proper person to discuss this with,
please let us know. I see that the CADL website (http://www.cadl.org/)
is "PLONE POWERED", so perhaps they are receptive to FLOSS.

I am a member of the Greater Lansing Linux Users Group. I am pleased to
see in the on-line catalog that there are many books on Linux available
in the CADL system, most of them with CDs or DVDs containing software.
However, the software included with the books becomes out-of-date and
obsolete much more quickly than the printed materials do. We have
discussed the idea of providing the CADL system with current versions of
Linux and other free software. Could you please direct me to the person
responsible for the procurement of new materials so that we might
discuss such an arrangement? Thank you for your assistance.
