[GLLUG] Smoothwall v2 forgot root password

Try this - it is for SuSE but the basic technique works for most Linux
boxes

Basically you are using a boot disk to mount the volume and blank out
your password in /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow

his root password is there a way to get into the box and reset the root
