I'll take that crusty offer and multiply it by 8x (at least 8U) I still
have two PowerEdge servers, PIII Xeon, 2gb ram or thereabouts, but no
disk. You'd need a single LVD disk to install. They are HUGE but have
a lot of redundancy. One of them has quad CPU. Like $50 or $75 (one is
better by far). For $100 you can have them both and a 9gb LVD hard
drive to go with it. Hell, you take them out of my garage and I'll let
you roam through my other junk boxes and maybe give you a hug too.

Karl, you wanna trade? :)

I've got a dell 1U poweredge 350 with a 1ghz Pentium III, 512 ram, and a
20gb hard drive in it. Would probably make a nice little web server, or
maybe a firewall for the rack (it has two on board interfaces).
Built on cdrom and floppy, serial access through the front. Currently
has server 2000 on it. I'm asking $100.
