Douglas,

Not meaning to insult your english, but it is difficult to get a clear
picture of what is going on here. Furthermore, it would be much
appreciated if when you replied to your daily digest emails you didn't
have the whole digest tagged on the end of your email, but only the
relavent bits.

>From what I can tell, you are putting the puppy linux CD in your
computer and booting from CD. It sounds like either you are at the
initial screen where it asks you to press a key to boot from CD, and
after you press it the computer hangs, or it sounds as if you have
made it to the screen of puppy linux with a boot: prompt. If it is the
latter, just press enter. If the former, your CD drive might be bad,
or the puppy linux disc might be corrupted in some way and no longer
functional.
