Before reading, please note that I'm nowhere near certain about this,
and I haven't looked at the other links provided on this thread (just
going from the commentary):

I've done some network booting in the past, but I've never tried to boot
an iso image from it. I think the formats are fundamentally different.
~ What you might be able to do is find some assembly or linux program
(similar in concept to isolinux) that would let you network boot that,
then load an iso file in memory, then switch over into the memory cached
image for the boot.

If your goal is just to test something like newer livecds on multiple
machines over the network, you might even be better off NOT testing the
liveCD itself, but rather creating a more traditional PXE boot
environment and script your buildtools to always update both in
parallel. That might give you somewhere around 95-98% of the testing
value you would get from the isos, but save you all the time of moving
physical discs. To test the discs themselves, you could just
periodically burn a cd and move it to each machine (just before a
release or something).

| thats very true Karl, but it's not the only thing I want to boot. what
I want is to be able to load any bootable image. that way no matter what
I'm doing I can just boot off the network select the image, and boot it.
