The WRT54GL is the same as the old WRT54G (versions <= 4.0), just with a
price hike and the extra letter.  The new WRT54G (versions > 4.0) is
garbage with half the ram, half the flash, the same UPC code and a
low-end firmware based on VxWorks (with MANY reported problems,
apparently related to large connection tracking tables).
