Hi, everyone,
I sent my original response only to Clay, which wasn't my intent (meaning no disrespect to Clay). Message below...

Schuler Books on Lake Lansing does not have explicit presentation space. But I have attended a number of presentations there.
The store usually reserves the area in the back corner opposite the coffee shop for such presentations. I do believe that the store expects to generate some cash flow from such presentations.
I know the manager, so I'll check on the expectations and costs (if any).
Regardless, the coffee shop is a nice venue, comfortable, and (unlike Gone Wired) air conditioned.
Finally, let me see what it will take to reserve a corner in the coffee shop for this Thursday. I'll post the results this evening.
Frank

This is probably to late to arrange it for this week, but how do people
feel about meeting at Schuler Books on Lake Lansing Road? They have air
conditioning, food and coffee, and a ready stock of all your geek book
needs.
They're even willing to reserve tables for us if we ask nicely. One
downside is that I don't think there is any presentation space.
