Most Dell machines get along with Linux. The specific quirk I've run
into, and warned
about, is in the Dell Optiplex GX 260 tower, desktop, and small desktop
models.
I had no quirky issues with Optiplex 270, 280, 745, 755, 760, and 960s
or Precision 330 and 340 models.
