[GLLUG] SEMCO SIG-Linux, August meeting

For August, the SEMCO SIG-Linux meeting subject will be:
"Xfce, The Third Desktop"

This presentation will focus on Xfce, one of the leading GUIs for
Linux.  With recent major changes to both KDE and GNOME, there has
been a bit of a baclash with some users looking at alternatives; in
fact, Linus Torvalds himself announced just this month that he was
adopting Xfce as his current GUI of choice due to his dissatisfaction
with the new GNOME 3.  There may be a slight side-trip into LXDE,
another light-weight GUI for Linux.

As usual, the meeting will be held at Paper Street, the home of "Motor
City Free Geek" with space kindly provided by Andy Didorosi (Paper
Street) and Ken Grundberg (Motor City Free Geek).
