[GLLUG] Motherboard problem.

Sounds like halting wasnt your issue, but rather that your motherboard
doesn't know how to handle having bad ram. Do you have a PC speaker
plugged in (to the motherboard jumper)? My early motherboards had all
kinds of funny quirks...no video if the card was in PCI slot 2, but in
slot 3 it worked just fine.
