I've had excellent luck with games purchased through this organization

This is their third bundle.  These are legit, fully-functional games
which work on the three most popular platforms.  They should work at
least on Ubuntu Linux.  They aren't free, but it's a pay what you want
program.  I've picked up every bundle so far, and I've always felt my
money was well spent.

If you like puzzle games, definitely pick up the first bundle, which
includes World of Goo, my favorite puzzle game so far.  It's like
Lemmings, but with better graphics and audio.  And completely addictive.
