Steve,
Assuming by "liquids" you mean alcohol, there are the following in close proximity:
Chili's
Outback Steakhouse
Old Chicago Pizza
Dusty's Cellar
Dusty's Tap Room
Leo's
Traveler's Club
On the other hand, I consider coffee a liquid.
Frank

Hi, everyone,
We had a conversation at last night's meeting about finding another place to meet which is:
• relatively quiet;
• air-conditioned; and
• has Wi-Fi
The particular place we were discussing is the "Coffee and Friends Cafe" at 5100 Marsh Road, Okemos -- the site of the former Cappuccino Cafe. The cafe has a very simple website at:
www.coffeeandfriendscafe.com
I was in Okemos for dinner this evening and stopped in to verify the particulars.
Looks like a good prospect and I'd be willing to meet there this coming Thursday, August 4.
Discussion ??

Having moved to the area, I can far more easily attend now. I like GW,
but the lack of AC means there are times when I really can't attend
and think at the same time.
Coffee and Friends is nice--but have you talked to the owners?
In general it would be nice to have the meetings at a place where
liquids are available, I think.
