Hey guys, I came out at about 8:30 last night and apparently missed most of
you! I had originally planned to interview a couple GLLUG members for a
report I have due in a couple weeks regarding migrating an office to Linux.
Below are a list of questions that you can choose to answer if you so wish.
Consider each of these questions as involving laptops and workstations, not
so much servers.

If you answer these questions, I'd appreciate it if you would post the
answers to the list. Thanks!

1. How secure do you feel with Linux as both an operating system and a work
environment?
Very insecure -> Insecure -> Neutral -> Secure -> Very secure

2. Would you be able, given the time, think of a Linux distribution for
every type of employee in an office? (Accountants, developers, secretaries,
support people)
Yes / Maybe / No

3. Do you think it would be easier to effectively run an office with
mostly(/all) Linux machines, or mostly(/all) Windows machines?
Linux / Windows

4. If it were your decision, would you migrate your current place of work to
Linux completely?
Yes / Maybe / No

5. Do you think the efficiency of an office would increase running just
Linux as opposed to just Windows?
Yes / Maybe / No

And one final note- I remember lending my copy of the 5th edition of
Learning Perl to someone a couple months ago who may or may not post on the
list. If you have it, I'd appreciate it if you could leave it with Jeff
Lawton.

Thanks,
Taylor
