      Yeah, Colleen still owns it. They changed the name because of the liquor license.

      The clientel doesn't seem to have changed much except that they have live music about 4 nights a week and that attracts a different crowd.

      I still enjoy going there and once in a while get a beer. They only carry Michigan brewed beer so they are pricey. No $4 pitchers of budlight.

      I'm pretty sure it's the same place with the same owners, just with a
      different name to make it seem cooler as an evening hangout, since
      they have a liquor license now. Probably also a strategic move to
      market themselves as THE Avenue Cafe, since that whole strip on
      Michigan Ave is making a push to brand itself as "The Avenue".
