It's that time of the year again, that's right, Notacon is rapidly approaching.  In fact, *today* is the last day to pre-register at discounted rates.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Notacon, it is an annual hacker convention/conference which has taken place in Cleveland, OH for the past eight years.  Notacon takes a very broad definition of the term hacker and covers a wide gamut of subjects from software development, information security, hardware hacking, art, science, amateur radio (we usually run a special events station in multiple modes), electronics, music, a bit of gaming.  Saturday night is reserved for Pixel Jam, a demo party where entrants showcase their talents in graphics, audio and multimedia formats for our entertainment and the chance to win prizes.
