[GLLUG] converting from 32 bit to 64 bit OpenSUSE

Problem is that Linux is 32 bit, so you the kernel can't run 64 bit
binaries. If you can't run a 32bit version, you'll need to reinstall.
Since Linux is the most mainstream OS for scientific work, etc. nowdays,
you should be able to find help. I know msu runs a disproportionately
large amount of windows stuff, but have you tried the MSU IT department, or
one of the more computer advanced IT departments in the colleges
(engineering, or such)?
