At $30, it may well be one of the best values for some use cases, but
it is nowhere near one of the best in the sub-$100 class. The
WNDR3700/WDNR3800 does everything you've listed, runs the aftermarket
firmwares, has USB (so, any filesystem Linux supports), and has
gigabit networking. Mine was purchased last Christmas as a gift for
~$50 refurb.

extended power outages this year, but it's WRT54G/GS predecessors
averaged close to a year uptime, and most of that configuration just
copied over.
