[GLLUG] Organizations for Computer donations?

We're not a non-profit, but we do accept donated computers that go to our
educational programs like Computers for Kids (where children in the Greater
Lansing Area who don't have a computer they can use at home get a
refurbished machine loaded with free, educational software - waiting list
of over 120 right now) and Geek Scouts (where scouts who don't own their
own computer get a refurbished machine they can use as they learn web
development and design - waiting list of just 1 right now).

I'd be happy to tell you more about either program and you can also call me
on my cell at 517-803-9346 if you want to talk in real time. The downside
for you would be if you were hoping for a tax deductible donation, that's
not something we can provide.

Are there any non-profit organizations to whom we can donate old computers?
The computer I have is old (not too old) and will install some variation of
Linux. I am looking for something in the Lansing/Ann Arbor area.

Also please let me know if there is a computer recycling organization at
the National or Global level.

Thank you for any help and information.
