Altair Engineering is happy to announce an Advance Training class for
HyperMesh - LS-DYNA interface. This class is specifically designed for
LS-DYNA HyperMesh user community in Michigan USA, Ontario and Quebec Canada.

This training class is hands on, one computer per student with ability to
run LS-DYNA.

Introduction of HyperMesh and LS-DYNA interface.
1. Crushing Tubes problem
1: Prepare for Modeling
2: Creating material collectors
3: Define the section cards for the components
4: Define the boundary conditions
5: Defining the Contact between the tubes
6: Setting up the analysis run
7: Export the Dyna Deck and running the analysis
2. Post Processing using HyperView
The HyperView Screen Display

1: Open a d3plot file
2: Animating the Results and manipulating the view

1: Retrieve the file and load the LS-DYNA keyword template
2: Define the airbag
3: Define the initial velocity for the head
4: Define the acceleration for the head
5: Define contact between airbag and head

7: Define the contact between the RigidPlate and the Airbag
8: Define the *DEFORMABLE_TO_RIGID card
9: review the analysis parameters and export the LS-DYNA
