FOS,

I'm looking for a student (graduate or exceptional undergraduate) for an
hourly paid position this summer. The pay is $15/hour, for up to 20 hours
per week for 2-3 weeks, starting mid-May.

The student would be a capable social scientist, with excellent skills in
finding demographic information and providing written summaries. Some
informational needs that I envisage include:

   - Lansing area demographics, 1900-present (with emphasis on the last 20
   years)
   - In- and out-migration patterns in Lansing (and lower Michigan),
   1900s-present.
   - De-industrialization, suburbanization and other changes to Lansing
   area residential patterns.
   - Any other relevant indicators, as developed from discussion with the
   team.

If you or any of your colleagues, friends or peers can recommend somebody,
I would be grateful for the lead. I have also advertised the position on
the MSU undergraduate research portal, Venture:

All best,
Suzanne
