FOS: Funded PhD in sociolinguistics at Newcastle and Belfast

Socio Lab and FOS,

Attached is a call for applications by January 13, 2021 for a fully-funded PhD place in the UK. The successful applicant will work on a research project to digitize an archive of recordings of Northern Ireland English.

You can apply even if you're already a PhD student, provided you've completed no more than 18 months of your degree. Individuals with a BA or MA degree in Linguistics or a related field by the time of appointment in October 2021 are also eligible.
