FOS: MI Diaries Story Team summer internships

The Sociolinguistics Lab has been running an 'audio diary' project since April 2020, called MI Diaries<https://mi-diaries.org>. As some of our fabulous students graduate or move on to other opportunities, we're looking for new talent to assist with various parts of the project. Right now we're looking for people to join our Story Team, which selects (with participants' permission) compelling diary excerpts to share with the public. For this task no special skills are required beyond a deep interest in story-telling, narratives and connecting with audiences in ways that are sensitive to the current moment. We'd like some commitment over the summer, and potentially into next academic year if it's a good fit for all.

I'd be grateful if you could share this opportunity with any students -- graduate or undergraduate -- who might be interested. MSU students should apply on HandShake; students beyond MSU should email me directly with their resumé and a cover letter (wagnersu at msu.edu). All meetings are virtual. The project PI is Betsy Sneller<https://linglang.msu.edu/betsy-sneller/>; as co-I, I'm handling the internship administration. Applications should be submitted by 5pm on Monday, April 19.
