FOS: VALING 2021 Undergraduate Research Conference

Hi Friends,

VALING 2021 <https://www.wm.edu/as/linguistics/valing/index.php#Program> (an undergraduate research conference) is being held virtually this weekend, and registration is free! Sociolab's very own Caroline Chuah will be presenting her work on style-shifting pop-punk accents across album styles tomorrow at 3:05pm  :)

The whole slate of socio talks (from 2:15-4:05) and the keynote talk (by Katie Carmichael, whose work on post-Katrina language change is excellent; 4:15-5:15) looks like it will be great!
