Friends of Sociolinguistics,
We have openings in LIN 230 Languages of the World, an asynchronous 3-credit online course running May 17 - July 1. This is a great introduction to languages and linguistics without the need for any prior background!
The course would be an especially good choice for majors in languages, social sciences, communication sciences and humanities. It's a wonderful standalone course, but it can also be a good scaffold for budding linguistics majors who are considering LIN 200 or LIN 401 introductory courses in the coming 2021-22 year. Please feel free to circulate this information widely.
Thanks! Suzanne
