FOS: Spring reading group: Sociolinguistic development across the lifespan

Socio Lab and Friends of Sociolinguistics,

Everyone is welcome to attend. Last spring we had a wonderful cross-disciplinary, cross-institutional membership of the Ethnicity and linguistic variation reading group<http://sociolab.wagnersu.msu.domains/reading-groups/ethnicity-and-linguistic-variation-reading-group/>. We hope that will continue!
When: Bi-weekly on Mondays, 4:30pm - 6:00pm; first live meeting Feb 1, asynchronous starts this week
Where: Teams

Recommended background: introductory knowledge of sociolinguistics/language variation and change

Format: Discussion of two readings per meeting, each led by a group member. For-credit members must present; all others are welcome. You may also just join for general discussion.
Credit: If you'd like to take the group for credit, contact Suzanne (wagnersu at msu.edu) and sign up to present a paper. Syllabus attached.
