Reading the fool and its a nice five-part duell but one sentence made me
cringe:

<quote>
And just like a Dell box can be upgraded with a hard drive from Gateway, a copy
of Linux installed from one of Red Hat's CDs can be upgraded with a package
installed from a TurboLinux CD. Commodity, interchangeable parts.

Another one of these problems. The higher of a goal you set the less likely you
will reach it and therefore disappoint in the end. If they make promises about
Linux and grab them out of the air in the end it will bite us in the ass.

People always hate how I am a pessimist. I see it this way. I never missed my
goals as I never overstated my abilities. If you keep the goals reasonable you
will gain acceptance by meeting your deadlines on a constant basis.
